"Sustainable Agriculture and Sustainable Living," presented by Peter Laurence

High oil and gasoline prices bring home the value of local farming and marketing of locally grown products. The US Bishops teach that care for the earth and the environment is a moral issue and that sustainable agriculture, providing careful stewardship of the earth, is vital to American agricultural policy.

Peter Laurence has been a landscaper for ten years. He specializes in organic, sustainable, and ecologically responsible methods. He has worked on numerous organic farms and received a Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences from Tennessee State University.
