Join Other Young Adults for Dinner
This Sunday (July 25) )we will be having dinner at the Whiskey Kitchen located at 118 12th Ave S, after the 6:00 p.m. Sunday Mass. So see you in the Cathedral after Mass.
Theology of the Body:
Join us Monday, July 26th from 7:00--900 p.m.: in St. Albert's Hall, Room #303 for a night of reflections and discussion about the Gospel of Life, one of JPII's most important encyclicals. We will be summarizing and discussing some of the final chapters of his lectures this coming Monday. We will also have info about plans to begin reading a new book.
Friday Night Social

Service Opportunity - North Nashville Charities Uniform Drive:
The Cathedral Young Adults are teaming up with North Nashville Charities to provide uniforms and Back-to-School items for several needy children in the Nashville area. This Uniform Drive will work in a manner similar to the Angel Tree at Christmas. Those who would like to contribute can sign up to sponsor a child and would be responsible for buying the clothes that have been requested for that particular child. There will also be an opportunity to purchase and contribute stationary items for the children.
Volunteers are needed to man the sign-up tables before and after each Mass on Saturday and Sunday for the next few weekends. During the first weekend, we will be collecting the names and contact information of the people who want to sponsor a child. The next couple of weekends we need volunteers to collect the clothing etc that is brought back.
Send an email to Roy Silveira at roysilveira@gmail.com with which Day and Mass at which you would like to volunteer. We will be doing this for the weekends of 7/24 - 7/25, 7/31 - 8/1 and 8/7 -8/8.
