Welcome to the first step of your sacred journey towards matrimony. We are delighted that you are considering the Cathedral of the Incarnation for your special day. Marriage is a beautiful sacrament, and we are here to support you through this blessed time.

 

Weddings are scheduled at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on Fridays at 3:00 pm and Saturdays at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Before that special day, though, there is some planning and preparation that needs to take place.

It is a requirement of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Nashville that arrangements for your wedding be initiated with a priest or deacon at least six months before the desired date of your ceremony. Couples must have a Prenuptial Investigation (PNI) Meeting with a priest or deacon and find priest or deacon to officiate their ceremony before a wedding date is booked at the Cathedral.  It is strongly recommended not to book any other venue until you've secured a wedding day and time at the Cathedral.
